About Me
My name is Janice Gepner. I taught high school chemistry for 25 years but quit teaching in 2010. This website is my attempt to share some of my teaching resources, so please send me feedback on how I can improve it.
I have won a number of teaching awards, including the 2010 High School Teaching Award from the Minnesota Section of the American Chemical Society and the High School Teaching Award from the Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society in 1988.
I taught for 16 years at St. Paul Academy and Summit School in St. Paul, Minnesota. Before that I taught for 9 years at The Winsor School in Boston, Massachusetts. I am currently tutoring Chemistry at the Academic Success Center at Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
I was interviewed for a Chemical and Engineering News article about people with Ph.D.s teaching high school chemistry.
